We are looking for a Sales Manager (m/w/d) for process and plant hygiene

Jürgen Löhrke GmbH is an independent technology company for the brewing, beverage, dairy and general food industries. We are active for our customers worldwide.  LOEHRKE Process Hygiene Inc. is our American subsidiary where we would like to fill this interesting position with great development opportunities.

What you bring:

  • Interest in selling solutions for automated process hygiene
  • Experience in advising and supporting new and existing customers on cleaning and chemical requirements
  • Willingness to travel primarily within the United States of America and occasionally to Germany – travel averages approximately 3 days per week

Your responsibilities:

  • You visit active and potential customers directly in their plants, at trade fairs or congresses.
  • Your contact persons come from the various departments, such as quality assurance, technical operations management, purchasing or management.
  • You will solve cleaning-related tasks with products from our standard portfolio or develop appropriate solutions in cooperation with our technical team.
  • Independent conduct of price negotiations, joint responsibility for the economic success of the negotiated projects
  • Impulse generator for product modifications and developments
  • Of course, you will be supported by our commercial and technical office staff during the processing.

What we would like to see:                                                                              

  • Preferably completed technical studies, training in the food industry or in an industry close to us
  • You know your way around key accounts
  • Strong experience in solving technical and chemical cleaning problems
  • Several years of experience with customers in the food industry with a focus on beverages
  • Market-focused and solution-oriented mindset to develop our business strategically and operationally
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Knowledge of how to use social media productively
  • You can bring the medium and long-term needs of our customers to our organization in a solution-oriented manner
  • Very good user knowledge in MS-Office, gladly also with current CRM systems
  • Fluent in conversational German and English, further foreign language skills are an advantage
